“Blue Gold: World Water Wars” (2009)

Water is the most fundamental and essential source of human survival. At the same time, big-time private companies and corrupt governments clash over control of this resource around the world, while hundreds of millions of people do not have access to clean and safe drinking water. And as we humans continue to pollute, pump and waste our supply of water, significant overdevelopment of agriculture combines with the militarization and securitization of water sources and borders to ignite worldwide protests, attention and revolutions over the most crucial element of water.
