Georgetown University
Georgetown University is developing a concentration within its new Justice and Peace Studies major with modules that focus on the intersection of human security, humanitarian action and social justice taught with the pedagogical tool of identifying and asking “enduring questions.” Georgetown has also emphasized the professional development of students in humanitarian research and action, matching Georgetown JUHAN student fellows with a faculty member to support research related to humanitarian action/human security.
Georgetown’s development of the aforementioned educational programs was made possible by the Teagle Foundation.
